Have you tried looking for your name on Google. I do! I have done it so many time, I just can’t believe that there are many very professional and talented Jeffrey Ching out there.

So how many famous Jeffrey Ching are there on Google’s list? Who are they? Where they from?

1. Jeffrey Ching a world class composer (a Filipino-Chinese like me)

He had written more than 200 beautiful compositions. Ching’s music is unique and exceptional because it combines modern music with the tune of different ancient cultures. Ching’s compositions often have elements of ancient Chinese music. According to Ching, “Many of my works use material from Ancient China.”

A government commissioned work he did to mark the centennial of Philippine independence, third symphony rituals has music elements of gamelan from Bali, baroque from Spain, and music from the Chinese Ming dynasty.

WOW, I cant imagine myself being a doctor, a physician, nor being a dentist. But during my childhood days, where every time someone would ask me what would I like to be when I grew up. I always answer “I want to be an astronaut”. Even in high school I do dream of becoming an astronaut one day. May its just because I like to watch sci-fi movies. I still imagine what its like to be an astronaut. Maybe that will be cool, they first Filipino-Chinese to be an astronaut. Its is really a big deal and an accomplishment for me.

But who really is Jeffrey Ching who’s writing all this nonsense thing on this blog. Well first of all, I am a Filipino-Chinese who was born and grew up in Manila, Philippines. I have nothing to brag about compare to this three accomplished people who accidentally have the same name like mine. I am just a humble graphic designer, and a full time employee in Taiwan.
