Categorizing your post on blogspot

Posted by jepoyzter under Tutorials

Hi nutriXx! It is nice to hear that you’ve found my site through loudfusion.com. Though what is loudfusion.com anyway? It’s the first timeI heard of that site. But anyway thanks for loudfusion.com fro bringing you here.

Well, because you post a question on my tag board. I would like to answer you question.

I noticed that your using Blogspot to create your blog “Inspired by a Word”.

To categorize your post on Blogspot. You must add labels to each post.

1. When you click on “Posting” on your Blogspot CMS (Content Management System), it’ll automatically let you create a new post.

2. Now, you can write a new article.

3. After you finish creating an article on the bottom right of your text editor you’ll see a  test field says “Labels for this post”.

4. On the text field, write or key in some keywords or labels for you post. For example, your post talks about you “vacation in Paris”. You can label this post as “vacation” or “trips”.

5. If you have more than 1 label for your post you can key in as many as you can following this format “Label1, Label2, Label3, Label4, …” (e.g. Vacation, Paris, Eiffel Tower, Romance, France, Summer Vacation). Take note that each label must be separated with a comma (,).

6. Now save and publish your post.

7. To make the categories or labels appear on your site’s sidebar.

8. Click on the “Template” tab.

9. It’ll show you all elements that are now showing on your site.

10. By default, you’ll see the header, blog post, side bars which contains (blog archive, and about me).

11. On the side bar click on “Add a page element”.

12. A window will pop-up and will show you all elements that can be added on you site.

13. Look for “Labels” and click on “Add to blog”.

14. Now you can change the element’s name from “Labels” to “Categories”. This is optional.

15. Select sorting option. You can have your categories or labels sorted alphabetically, or have it sorting by number of post belonging to that category.

16. Now click on “Save Changes”

17. Now you’ll see “Labels” added on your side bar.

18. Save your current layout.

19. Then “View Blog” to check if its working.

Hope this post of mine can help you. Cheers!

RE: Caleb Chapman

Posted by jepoyzter under Music

Last night, Cand IM me and introduce me to Steven Curtis Chapman’s son, Caleb Chapman with matching URL to his site.

Since last night, I am quite busy looking for something over the internet. I took the liberty of checking out his site. My habit when I checked someone artist’s site. I always go to discography and check if had done some albums. But the site doesn’t have any links to anything. Just hi MySpace site and a site where he has some gigs. But good thing theres a music player thats running on the background playing “Hallelujah”. And I said, “Wow, this kid really has talent”. I think not only he inherit his Dad’s talent. But this kid is really God gifted with music.

After a few more research I found out that he belong to a band named “The Following” as a lead vocalist and plays guitar. Together with his brother Will Chapman on drums, DJ Lipscomb on lead guitar and vocals, and Dale Lipscomb on bass. Checkout the band’s MySpace.

P.S. Check out “Grace” on Caleb’s site its on Track 2.

CNY 2008 Day 4

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post

My Chinese new year vacation is almost over. Almost less than 48 hours from now, I’ll once again go back to my usual boring routine. Getting up early and going back to work.

Today, I spend the whole afternoon walking around Taipei all by myself. I am quite uncomfortable staying home with both of my parents staying all day. I say, I must get out of the house.

Though we are all together, the whole house felt so empty. I don’t know whats the problem with my folks. But when I sense quietness around. Definitely theres something wrong, and I have to distance myself from them. Or else, I am doomed and stuck in this silent chaos. Whatever! Let them be.

So my first stop, BoAi Road 博愛路. This street is just 2-3 blocks away from Taipei Main Station. BoAi Road is branded as the “Mecca of Photographic Equipments”. Crowded with shops that sell cheap and affordable camera equipment. Whatever you look for they have it. FYI, It’s is where I bought my Sony Alplha 100 a year ago. Before the day Christian left for the Philippines, we compare some features of his DSLR with mine. I really quite envy the sound of his shutter. Very soft and really sound like digital. Mine was like a little too old style for something considered as high-end DSLR. But to hell with it, its been already a year ago and I shouldn’t be complaining anymore. I window shop for lenses for my cam. Since my cam is Sony I shouldn’t be expecting price range that would fit my budget. Though I already have a good kit lens. I just looked for something I can buy in the near future. Hehehe.

After that I went straight to NOVA an establishment or somewhat like a mall for computers and gadget (its somewhat like Virramall in Manila, Philippines). I canvassed for:

1. Nokia N82

2. Nokia N95

3. Palm Treo 750

4. Xbox 360

5. Playstation 3

6. Nintendo DS Lite

Gee, I shouldn’t have gone to NOVA. Coz I’ll end up depressed after seeing the tag on those cool gadget.  :(

So after a depressing stroll at gadget land. Off I go to AsiaWorld Mall at DunHua North Road 敦化北路 to buy some stuff for my friend Buena and Tina. It took me three hours to find what I want to give them. So I end up giving them a Fotune Pillow Case. I hope they’ll like it.

7:30 PM I went to our Saturday Church gathering. But I only stayed 30 minutes. I quite can’t stand being there too long. Then I went back to AsiaWorld and had a simple dinner at IKEA. I just starting to love their meatballs in gravy sauce with fries on the side. Yummy!

Then went to take a walk at XiMen Market 西門町, and canvassed again for phones and went back home.

CNY 2008 Day 3

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post, Uncategorized

I decided to stay home today since my feet still hurts and can’t stand walking too long. Theres nothing so special today. The weather is still freaking cold and the rain wont stop 3 days in a row since our vacation start. Just an enough reason to stay in bed and cover yourself with think blanket. So what I did all day is to watch TV and browse the internet.

Speaking of TV. I’ve been religiously watching BravoTV‘s “Project Runway” now in its 4th season. This show is a reality series where aspiring fashion designers compete for a chance to break into the industry. Each week, a designer is eliminated from the competition after exhibiting their work in front of a judges’ panel. Hosted by Heidi Klum with Tim Gunn. I think this year’s batch have the most talented designers compared to the previous season.

For this season my bet is Christian, 21 years old from Annapolis, Maryland. He’s the youngest and most creative among the group. His designs are always love by the judges, and he’s been always on top in most challenges.
Next is Rami 31 years of age born and grew up in Jerusalem. He is quite consistent in the beginning of the show. But after winning a challenge, and almost got eliminated the next challenge. He stick with more safe designs compared to his previous sophisticated style at the beginning. I hope he could find a way to impress the judges and get in and show off at Bryant Park for New York’s fashion week.

Another TV show still from BravoTV that I am watching right now is “Make Me a Supermodel”. You’ll just say its just another reality model search show. But the thing that set this show different from other is that both male and female are in the competition for being the supermodel and winning a $100,000 USD. Hosted by supermodels Niki Taylor and Tyson Beckford. I say Niki Taylor is HOT! HOT! HOT!

My TOP 5 from left to right: Jacki (21), Perry (22), Ronnie (24), Ben (22), Shannon (22)

My all time favorite Jacki and Ronnie, both vert professional and born supermodels to be. Too sad I heard that Ronnie is off for elimination this week. Hope that wont be vote off. Ronnie is not only into modeling but he’s also an aspiring actor. So all of you who can vote. Vote for Ronnie.

After watching some of my TV shows, I went to buy some groceries. But first I window shop for a new phone. At first I really want Nokia’s N82. But after commenting on Bro. Mike blog. I end up torn between N95 and N82. Both don’t have any difference at all. Supports GPS, 5 Megapixel Camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and has big screen. But afterall, I realize my N80 still works perfect for me. So I decided not to buy anymore. Hahaha.

CNY2008 Day 2

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post

Well, today’s plan didn’t go like I expected it to be. A sudden change of schedule. So I didn’t have the chance to take my Buena’s family out for a short tour around Taipei. At first, I planned to take them along Daan District’s Mall SOGO and Breeze Center, but seems like the whole family was tired from the trip. So I just drop by the hotel and brought some presents. Upon arriving at the hotel, I tried calling their phones but no one is answering. So I tried approaching the concierge and tried asked them to deliver my present to their room, but the problem is I didnt know to whom the room is registered to. So I called Buena to ask her sister to meet me at the hotel’s lobby. But well at least I did saw Beatrice, whos all grown up now. :)

Well I bought these nougat from 糖村 (Sugar and Spice) near my work as presents and as tradition to give sweets every Chinese new year. These really became my favorite the first time I ate them. They are really chewy and nutty. You all should really try them, and you’ll love them. But doesn’t come cheap though. :)

So after passing by the hotel. I have to run back to SOGO Fuxing Store to meet up with Krystl whos visiting from Kaoshiung. She always spend Chinese New Year in Taipei. At first, I was planning to go to Kaoshiung for a change. Since the only person I know in Kaoshiung already did plan to go north. I have no choice but to just stay. So we just had a very small chat, make some kamustahan along with a schoolmate back in college Diana together with two chikitings.

After my friend left, I called Christian and Bro. Saxon to have dinner before Christian left for the Philippines for a 3 or 4 days vacation. They pick TGIF across Chang Gung Hospital in Dun Hua Road.

Now after today I’ll be all alone from Friday till Monday. Dad is in TaiChung playing Mahjong and Mom I think will be going out with her Kumares. Sheesh…

CNY2008 Day 1

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post

I really looked forward to this week. A time to take my mind out of work. 6 days of free time to do anything I want. To relax, to sleep till afternoon, and go to explore Taipei with less people around the street. But sometimes there are people who really knows how to make someones day sucks.  So I just stayed home today.

Slept till 12:00pm and watch TV all afternoon. Sigh! Ain’t this fun?? Duh!

Anyway, I hope tomorrow will be different. I have to get out of the house. Good thing a family of a good friend of mine is visiting Taipei for the Chinese New Year. Will tour them around Taipei in the afternoon.  :)

Say NO to CHEAP Shoes

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post

SALE Season here in Taipei. Almost the end of the winter season. This Chinese New Year I am really not on the mood of buying anything for myself, since I have a really tight budget for my upcoming trip. Though I really want to buy a new phone.

I checked out malls and stores along ZhongXiao district where my work is located nearby. But didn’t see anything worth buying. Thus I plan to get myself a new pair of sneakers for every day use.

Sunday, after accompanying someone to buy a camcorder for his parents. We stop by XiMen Market and I saw these pair of shoes from LACOSTE which is on sale. A pair only cost $780 NT. It fits just right on me. So without hesitations I bought it.

The next day, I wear it to work and I started to feel uncomfortable with it. So I took it off for a while and give my feet a rest. Lunch time when I put them back on, and since I can’t walk on bare feet to have lunch. I started to complaining to my colleague that my feet starting to hurt. She noticed that its new, and says it natural. Yeah, its natural. But not this one. When we were about to cross the street theres only 20 seconds left for us to cross. So we all have to run, I can’t run because my feet really hurts a lot. But still try to, then I felt something really aches. I think right foot got wounded along my ankle. And yeah there it is, skin peeled off. OUCH!!!

SO NO MORE CHEAP SHOES!!!!

Some PEOPLE are INCONSIDERATE

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post

As titled.

I just proven it. That not all things work both ways.

More depressed.

I have to stop being nice.

I have to stop being HELPFUL.

I think I had enough.

I really do hate to feel this way.
