Oh no… Air Conditioner left open for 12hrs

Got home from work. When I hold the door knob and about to enter my room. The knob is quite cold, and when I opened the door the whole room is freezing cold. Brrrrrrr…

Certainly when I woke up this morning the airconditioning is off, and I didnt even turn it on this morning. Did it automatically turn on itself?
