Helloooo 2008

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post, Tech & Gadgets

What about 2008

I am back back back…. Sorry didn’t post anything for the past few days. The cold weather is killing me, spend the whole day yesterday under my blanket and just got out of bed in the afternoon and decided to window shop for a bit and help Francis buy his new phone.

I have big plans for this year and I am praying that the Lord lead the way. I am not posting what it is but few of my friends know what it is.

It’s back to work, sigh work….

The Office

Office mood… very silent. Some are still on vacation… sarap ng buhay nila, and I am busy with my own stuff. I am now looking for someone who I can have lunch with.

3G iPhone out 3rd Quarter of 2008

Did I hear it right? 3G iPhone available June of 2008. Still half a year long to wait and my palm is quite itching for that for phone. Just heard it from an officemate.

So how would you like the 3G iPhone be? Mine would be.

1.  With built-in bluetooth.

2. A camera on front like most 3G phones.

3. And support 3rd Party Application without hacks.

My blog is iPhone compatible

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post, Tech & Gadgets

Found this wonderful plugin for WordPress called iWPhone WordPress Plugin and Theme Version 0.1.2.It is plugin you install on your WordPress system. Activate it, and whenever you browse your blog created with WordPress using your iPhone or iPod Touch. Presto, its is like the theme they use on iPhone.

Not only you can view my blog, you can also listen to some Mp3s I’ve uploaded. I am using Quicktime to embed mp3s on my blog. So you can stream music on your iPhone. I think I can upload movies, and let you watch on your iPhone as long I am using Quicktime Player.

Since Flash wont be supporting iPhone’s and iPod Touch for the mean time. Maybe its cool Quicktime is there.

Jepoyzter’s Favorite Things

Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post, Tech & Gadgets

I was watching Oprah’s episode of her favorite things last night, and maybe I should also list down my own favorite things. Maybe someone is reading my blog, and generously surprise me with a gift this christmas. (wishful thinking)

1. Sony PlayStation 3 (White)
Price: ¥39,979 ($370 USD)Gee, this will really looks nice in my room. One time, I saw this being sold in an online store here in Taiwan. Selling at NT $14000 from usual price of $26,000. Though I cant buy it that day, I have to wait till next morning 10:00AM since its a first-come first-serve item. So I went to my office before 10 and waited for the time. So sad didnt make it, seems someone got ahead of me or is it just a scam? I dont know :(
2. Nokia N82
Price: NT $23,500 ($726 USD)
I’m kinda in love with this phone. I do have an N80 right now, and seems like it’ll be needing some replacement. Will be available around end of November, and I’m having a hard time to decided whether to buy or not.
3. iPod Touch 16GB Price: NT $14,300 ($399 USD) I own one, bought from an officemate of mine for a very low price. This is the closest thing of having an iPhone. So far I am very happy with the functions, even without Jailbreaking it. Love watching my TV show and listening to my music.
4. Porter TOTE Bag Price: Est. NT $3,500-4,500 ($110-130 USD) Looks weird, but a very hot item right. Now, I wish I had an extra stash of cash under my pillow.

Welcome OS X Leopard!

Mac OS X Leopard

I’ve been drooling this for months since Apple announces their new line up of MacIntels, and I can’t wait to have my copy on the 26th. Surely after I secure myself a copy, I’ll be going straight back home and start installing this awesome operating system. Can’t wait to see the new features of OS X Leopard.

Some of it new cool features are:

  1. Desktop. The new look of Leopard showcases your favorite desktop image and puts new file stacks at your fingertips for a stunning, clutter-free workspace.
  2. Finder. Browse your files like you browse your music with Cover Flow.
  3. Quick Look. Browse, play, view, and page through your files. Without opening them.
  4. Time Machine. See how your system looked on a given day and restore files with a click.
  5. Mail. Email personalized stationery, take notes, and write to-dos that appear in iCal.
  6. iChat. Video chat with effects and backdrops, present remotely, and get more from text.
  7. Spaces. Create custom workspaces to stay clutter-free and organized.
  8. Safari. The world’s fastest browser, now with even more features.
  9. Boot Camp. Run Windows on your Mac.

So how much? hmmm… at Apple Store’s website it’s $129 USD. Here in Taiwan it cost $4300 TWD (Traditional Chinese Version). I wish I can select languages before installation.

I might took some picture of the release event that will be held near Taipei 101. Sure will post it here.
