Hillsong’s “This Is Our God” Live Worship Album
Posted by jepoyzter under Faith, Music

July. What’s so special about this month? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh….. new Hillsong live worship yeah. The most anticipated month the year for anyone whose been listening and loving their songs and the way they worship.
I got the chance to listen and watch the album on CD and DVD. Just like my reaction every year. It’s A-W-E-S-O-M-E, great songs, and great voices. Though this album introduced much more new faces compared to the past albums they made. I can’t even count how many they are. I am still glad to see Darlene Zschech, Marty Sampson, and Reuben Morgan. I think it wouldn’t be complete without them.
Though my main concern is the price of their CD. I checked their online store and found out that the cost of the CD and DVD increased. If I could still remember a year or two years ago, they were $10 AUD cheaper. Sigh… I wish when their CD and DVD are already available here it would be the same standard price like it was before.
For a sneak peak of the album, listen to my favorite track from the album so far. Plus! a video of Healer. Enjoy!

Recommendations…
Posted by jepoyzter under Applications, Jepoy Recommends, Music
Guys just want to recommend some cool stuff for you to use and also something to entertain you.
First, to all bloggers out there and those who would like to start their own blog. WordPress just released the new version of their blog platform which is now version 2.6.
There are tons of cool features that comes with this release. Like post revision, photo captioning, shift gears, and more. I really love WordPress compare to other blogging software out there. The software is customizable, user friendly, and lots of plugins you can add into your blog with just a few clicks.

For entertainment, please check out Matt Nathanson. I discover this guy through iTunes. You might want to hear out this guy’s voice and songs. They are pretty good. Enjoy!

Movies to watch…
Posted by jepoyzter under Movies

Two movies I’m so excited to watch this week and the following week. “The Dark Knight” and “Wanted” starring mamalicious Angelina Jolie.
I’m quite more excited with the Batman sequel “The Dark Knight”. I didn’t know that the film is more that 2.5 hours. I just found out when I was about to reserve tickets for Saturday. The movie house is charging another NT $10 for the overtime. Sheesh… these guys really knows how to do business. Anyway I haven’t read any reviews yet, and haven’t heard anything from anyone who already saw the movie. So I’d be avoiding entertainment blog for the next two days before I get to watch the movie myself. I’m sure this movie gonna blow my mind.
Next in line is “Wanted”. I’ve seen the trailer for couple of times already, and I’ve already waited enough for this movie. We’re delayed of course, and seems like I’ll be the last one among my friends back in the Philippines to watch this film.

My most recent purchases…
Posted by jepoyzter under Random Post, Uncategorized

Right after lunch at Swensen’s and an hour walk inside Eslite Bookstore. We’re about to head to ZhongShan North Road to buy bread at Florida Bakery. But before that, we passed by Rockport across Taipei Stadium and Asia World Mall.
I am quite dying to have a new pair of shoes. The last pair I bought was 4 months ago and it’s a Converse sneakers that I couldn’t wear because my feet hurts a lot and can’t breath in it everytime I wear them. But the time I was fitting them they are quite comfy. I don’t know whats wrong with them. Anyways I should try wearing them again soon.
Back to Rockport. Actually I don’t have any intensions of buying a pair of shoes that day. We just enter the store and I started to sit on the couch and let Michelle take her time looking around while I enjoy the cool air of the store’s air conditioning system. It was really hot that day and I was like a faucet sweating. While sitting and at the same time my eyes are rolling through some cool pairs of sandals displayed. I saw a nice pair of boat shoes right below the sandals that I saw. I like boat shoes because they are comfy and I don’t have to wear socks to wear them. I asked the sales lady if they had the biggest size, which I always ask everytime I would like to fit one. So she brought me a size 11. I was wondering, would it fit? Sometimes my feet’s size could go 12 or 13. Well depends on the brand and type. So I started to put both on and walk on it. Yeah they are comfy and fits perfectly. But something bothers me with the design of the shoes with what I am wearing that day. Then I noticed that I am wearing socks. So I tried taking off my socks (good thing my feet doesn’t smell or else I would cause everyone inside the store to suffocate that would cause a massacre in Taipei) then putting them back on. Then there it is. Kaching… kaching… the sound of the cash register. We decided to head out of the store before I could cause a massive damage with my budget for the month. Since I was also eying on the pair of sandals I saw. But thats enough, I am happy with just a pair.
So when we arrive at ZhongShan North Road and after having a sip of 7-11 City Cafe’s Vanilla Ice Coffee which is oh so yummy. We stop by Vivo to check out Hugo Boss’ new perfume. It smells good but I am not that crazy about it. I would still prefer the one I used before which is Girgio Armani’s Aqua Di Gio, that I was planning to buy after I empty a bottle of Bulgari’s Aqua Pour Homme and Clinique’s Happy for Men.
When we enter the store no one entertained us. Not a single one. Though theres like 4 of them inside the store and only one customer plus us. Since no one is entertaining us, we just started testing some bottles on a strips of papers. Then a sales lady comes nearby us and staring at us while talking to her co-sales lady. Thats it, she started to get into my nerves. She looks at us like we don’t have money to buy and we’re just playing with their items. Then Michelle walked near the door and the sales lady followed her with a strange look. Like, I wanna grab her eye balls and soaked them in a gallon of muriatic acid. I just hate people like that. So I didn’t say anything to Michelle, and I just call her and let her try Sean John’s Unforgivable for Men. I liked it the first time I smelled it. The smell is not that strong but its refreshing and quite unique. I somewhat like to buy it 6 months ago. But like what I said , I still have two bottles of used perfumes at home and one thats not opened yet which was a gift to me last year on my birthday.
Then I told her that I was quite intimidated with the clerks attitude. So she was also thinking of buying one for herself. Then the sales lady with the attitude problem approached us and ask “are you looking for something?” in Chinese and in a sarcastic way. Michelle started answering in English and ask her how much is the Bulgari perfume for women. The sales lady told her the price and get another bottle which is a Max Mara perfume. The sales lady is quite pushy with the Max Mara perfume but Michelle can’t smell anything from the perfume. So she tell her that she’ll think about it, but the “makulit” kept on pushing. So I just told the sales lady just get me a bottle of Unforgivable, to have her stop whining. We’ll it doesn’t there. She still kept on talking about promos and stuff if we purchase the perfume she was pushing to us. After a couple of NO’s in the end she stopped and I follow her to the cashier. Paid my purchase, and out of the store. Sheesh…

Gluttony
Posted by jepoyzter under Food, Random Post
Yesterday was Michelle’s last day in Taiwan. For her, it wont be a complete and satisfying stay if she didn’t had a Meat Sauce Spaghetti at Swensen’s. So I agreed to have lunch with her at Swensen’s the night before.
So the next day before we left home. I told her that theres another branch we should consider visiting and its just 2-3 km away from Swensen’s in RenAi Road and also along DunHua North Road. Since we have this miss communication problems and hunger had overcome our sense of direction, we end up eating at RenAi Branch instead of the one in MinSheng Road.
While I’m looking at menu. Michelle was already decided to have a meat sauce spaghetti, and after a few minutes I chose to have a mushroom cheese burger. I know that their burger is served quite big for my small appetite (sorta kinda) and I doubt myself that I can finish the whole thing. But were still kinda undecided whether we should order an appetizer or not. I kinda like to order a plate of calamari but the problem is Michelle don’t eat squids. So she ask me if we can order a house sampler instead. I would ate the calamari and the buffalo wings, and she would take the potato skins and the mozzarella cheese sticks. That fine with me. When our order came we didn’t see any calamari on the plate. I didn’t also bother to read the description on the menu since I take Michelle’s word for it. So in the end we end up sharing everything whats on the plate and we were both almost full after finishing the whole dish, and our main course haven’t arrived yet.
So when her spaghetti and my burger arrived, were both full. I am staring at my burger and didn’t know where to start. Should I just eat the beef patty with melted cheese and mushrooms on top plus the veggies and wedge fries on the side ignoring the bun? or should I stack everything into one and start piggin on it? Well in the end, I end up with option 2 and little by little, slice by slice I finished the whole thing. Thats one hell of a burger I should say, and no burger for me for the meantime.
So after a big meal, and tummy is as big as a watermelon. We decided to walk down to Eslite Bookstore and check out some books and magazine. Since Michelle couldn’t find an issue of Entertainment Weekly featuring Christian Bale we headed out the bookstore and upon passing one shelf along the way to the door. There’s a book titled in big bold letters “GLUTTONY” staring at us. Hahaha…

Jason Mraz

Saw a friend of mine posted a video of Jason Mraz on Facebook. Jason performed the song “I’m Yours” at Ootmarsum in Netherlands. Jason had his audience do a little interaction while singing the song which went very well.
I like Jason Mraz. His songs are catchy and his voice is so versatile that he can sing any genre. And I’ve been listening to his latest album “We Sing, We Dance, and We Steal Things.” Though I’ve just download it few weeks ago. Today, I just bought a copy of his CD.
The whole album is great. Lots of mixed and fresh sounds I never heard before and also Jason had a duet with Colbie Caillat too.
Read more to watch Jason Mraz’s official video of “I’m Yours” after the jump. Enjoy!

HILARIOUS!!!!
At last! After 2 weeks of waiting, I get to watch Kung Fu Panda last Friday. I must say, I’ve been lauging all throughout the movie.
Ain’t Po so adorable? Hehehheehe… Or me? hahaha just kiddin. I know lots of kids will cry if I say I’m cuter that Po. Hahahahah… ok….
Definitely a must watch movie for the whole family! I bet Angelina Jolie’s twins in her belly also enjoyed it too.
I can’t write anything but praise to the creator of Kung Fu Panda.
One question. Will it replace Shrek? I guess so…
Ey to those who haven’t watch it yet. Don’t miss this chance.
